Jewish Farm School

The Jewish Farm School is an educational organization comprised of farmers, builders, writers and educators. Our mission is to practice and promote sustainable agriculture in order to cultivate just food systems rooted in Jewish traditions.

The aspirations of the Jewish Farm School are driven by the environmental and social injustice inherent in current mainstream food systems. Drawing on the Jewish tradition of using food as a tool for social justice and spiritual mindfulness, the Jewish Farm School works to create greater access to sustainably grown foods, produced from a consciousness of both ecological and social well being.

The Jewish Farm School is a program of Hazon.
